Australian Performing Arts Centres Association (APACA)
The Australian Performing Arts Centres Association is the national peak body representing and supporting performing arts centres from the iconic Sydney Opera House to the remote Matt Dann Cultural Centre in Australia's vast North West.
APACA also supports the development of performing arts in general throughout Australia with a rapidly growing associate membership including producing companies, touring organisations and funding bodies.
Annually APACA members present in excess 25 000 events, with over ten million attendances, in an industry valued in excess of $1.1 billion.
APACA members have the lobbying and advocacy power of Australia's national performing arts peak body behind them when needed and in front of them leading the way with national strategic initiatives. Senior Pegasus manager, Bronwyn Edinger, (hyperlink to Brownyn Edinger bio) has been the President of APACA since 2008.
Incorporation of NSW and ACT Performing Arts Centres (INAPAC) INAPAC is the representative body for Performing Arts Centres in NSW and ACT, supporting a vibrant network of members.
NSW and ACT Performing Arts Centres are actively involved in the national touring network, making some of Australia's best performing arts available to their communities. At venues around the state you are able to see everything from Opera to local eisteddfods and from Shakespeare to children's theatre.
More than just theatre spaces, many INAPAC members also offer conference, exhibition and event facilities and are fundamental to the cultural life of the areas they service.
